No. 20 Tennessee (3-1, 0-1 SEC) defeated UTSA (1-3, 0-0 AAC), 45-14, Saturday at Neyland Stadium.
101,915 were in attendance for the Week 4 non-conference matchup. Saturday’s contest was the first all time meeting between the Vols and Roadrunners.
Redshirt senior quarterback Joe Milton III completed 18-of-31 passing attempts for 209 yards and two touchdowns for the Vols.
Running back Dylan Sampson led Tennessee with 139 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Ramel Keyton led the Vols in receiving yards (48) and also scored one touchdown.
Linebacker Aaron Beasley led Tennessee with nine tackles. Elijah Herring also recorded eight tackles versus the Roadrunners.
