Tennessee’s men’s and women’s basketball teams will host Market Square Madness for a second consecutive year.
The outdoor fan festival will be held at Market Square in Knoxville on Oct. 12.
The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. EDT. Fans will be able to take photos with Smokey and Tennessee’s spirit squad. Face painting is also available and fans can participate in on-court contests and compete for prizes.
Former Vols’ quarterback Sterling Henton will serve as emcee and disc jockey.
Following a performance from the Pride of the Southland Band, Henton will introduce members of Tennessee’s men’s and women’s basketball teams.
The Vols and Lady Vols will then compete in various skill competitions.
Admission to the event is free and parking will be available at the Market Square Garage, State Street Garage and Locust Street Garage. Parking is free and fans will be granted access after 6 p.m. EDT.
