After missing a wide-open receiver on third down, Ohio State quarterback, Kyle McCord, found Emeka Egbuka for a key fourth-down conversion. From there TreVeyon Henderson turned a corner and then turned on the jets as he scampered for a 21-yard touchdown for the first score of the game vs. Western Kentucky.
The offense looked efficient overall. McCord only had the one incompletion and Henderson tallied 32 yards on three carries for more than a 10-yard average. At the start of the game, Henderson is just 78 yards away from 2,000 career yards in Scarlet and Gray.
As always, there is no shortage of opinions, so let’s take a look at the best reactions from the Buckeye’s first score of the afternoon.
