WATCH: BYU fan leaves message in the sky for Razorback fans

One creative BYU fan and pilot used the skies to send a message to Arkansas fans before the Hogs and Cougars face off in Fayetteville.

Cue “Danger Zone” by Kenny Loggains and grab a pair of Aviators.

The Arkansas and BYU fanbases have had a very respectful and cordial relationship these last two season. Seeing as though the two programs had never met before last year, there was barely any trash talk or hard feelings between fans like one might see during SEC games.

In fact, following last seasons game, which Arkansas won 52-35, Razorback fans came away talking very highly of the hospitality and generosity exhibited by Cougars fans. However, there’s still a game to be played and both fanbases will be loudly and proudly cheering on their teams come kickoff.

In that vein, a Twitter (X) user and BYU fan, who goes by the name Capt Butter, took to the skies to share a message ahead of Saturday’s game. Using a “some Google Earth magic and precise turns” the pilot was able create BYU logo and spell out “BEAT ARKANSAS” with his flight path.

The pilot mentioned in the comments how the flight path covered over 35 nautical miles near the Canadian border in Northwest Washington. Talk about dedication! BYU wins the contest for coolest display of fandom for this week, but let’s hope that the Cougars don’t actually win the game on Saturday night.

Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT from Fayetteville and coverage will be on ESPN2.
