Ohio State football offensive MVP against Indiana

Who was the offensive MVP for Ohio State against Indiana? #GoBucks

The Ohio State football team has just come off of its season opener against the Indiana Hoosiers and came away from Bloomington with a 23-3 victory. The offense wasn’t awful, but not nearly as productive as some would have hoped.

There were some bright spots within the offense, but those highlights are few and far between except when diving into what Cade Stover accomplished. We briefly discussed last week that Stover was a player to keep an eye on as he was the only Buckeye to score two scores in the 2022 contest against Indiana and he did not disappoint in 2023.

Stover was the leading receiver for Ohio State with five receptions for 98 yards, and although he was kept out of the endzone he was a vital piece on multiple drives. His 49-yard catch was the highlight of the day for the Buckeyes. Stover was the only player that really popped and showed up like we all expected. Hopefully, next week this decision is a bit harder.
