To say the Ohio State football team wasn’t a well-oiled machine on offense would be a significant understatement, but OSU did win by 20 points, 23-3, at Indiana.
The defense looked fantastic, but there are clearly some things to work on when it comes to the offensive side of the ball. In some sense, it felt like a throwback game, and we’ve kind of been spoiled by all of the offense over the last few years.
Ryan Day kind of felt the same way after the game when he met with the media to reflect on Ohio State’s first game of the year. If you missed any of what he said, you can hear his comments thanks to the YouTube channel of the local NBC affiliate in Columbus.
Click on the below and listen to Day discuss the play of Kyle McCord at quarterback, how great the offense looked and the adjustments the team will have to make.
Ohio State will gladly put this one in the win column and get ready to face Youngstown State at home next Saturday.
