Jaden Springer leads 76ers in scoring versus Oklahoma City

Former Vol Jaden Springer leads the 76ers in scoring versus Oklahoma City.

Oklahoma City defeated Philadelphia, 100-91, Thursday in the Salt Lake City Summer League at Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Former Vol Jaden Springer started and played 30 minutes for the 76ers. He totaled 17 points, five rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block.

Springer converted 5-of-13 field goal attempts and 7-of-7 free throw attempts.

Springer played for Tennessee from 2020-21 and was a member of the SEC All-Freshman Team.

He was selected by the 76ers in the first-round of the 2021 NBA draft (No. 28 overall).

Springer came to Tennessee from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida as a McDonald’s All-American.

The 76ers will next play Saturday against New York. Tipoff is slated for 5 p.m. EDT and the contest will be televised by NBA TV.
