One of the top offensive line prospects in the 2024 cycle is narrowing down his recruitment to six schools.
Four-star offensive tackle Michael Uini announced Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Michigan and Texas as his top choices.
The 247Sports Composite rankings list Uini as the No. 8 offensive tackle and the No. 134 overall player in the 2024 class. He has picked up 42 offers from some of the premier programs around the country.
Uini fits the mold Texas looks for in an offensive lineman. At 6-foot-8, 315-pounds, Kyle Flood sees Uini as a future force on the offensive front.
On3 Sports spoke with Uini about where things currently stand in his recruitment. It seems to be anyones game for the talented tackle out of Copperas Cove (Texas).
“Right now, I don’t have a number order like one through three, I’m going in there with an open mind. Me, my mom and my family are looking at whichever visit we feel will benefit me in the near future. We’ll know that feeling once it comes.”
The Longhorns are looking to fight off the opposing schools and keep Uini in the state of Texas.
