Receiver Michael Wilson was surprised when the Arizona Cardinals selected him in the third round of the 2023 draft. He said in his conference call after being drafted that he wouldn’t have had the Cardinals even in his top 10 of teams interested,
However, he does share an interesting connection with a Cardinals coach.
Wilson, who wore No. 4 in college for Stanford, shared a number with the Cardinals’ receivers coach Drew Terrell. Terrell wore No. 4 for Stanford in his college career.
In five seasons for the Cardinal, Wilson caught 134 passes for 1,662 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Terrell, who played for Staford from 2009-2012, finished with 71 career receptions for 797 yards and one touchdown.
