Former Ohio State wide receiver Kaleb Brown has found his transfer destination, and it’ll be within the Big Ten conference. Brown announced his transfer destination of Iowa on social media Thursday after entering the transfer portal just a few days ago.
Out of St. Rita High School in Chicago, Brown came to the Buckeyes in the 2022 class as a 4-star prospect. He was ranked as the No. 13 wide receiver and 79th overall player in the 247Sports Composite Rankings. It’s really no surprise that Brown decided to move on with such a loaded and talented receiver corps in Columbus.
Brown was used very sparingly in his freshman campaign last season, catching just one pass for five yards. He’ll now be going to an Iowa team where he should push for playing time immediately. It’ll be an interesting transition for him though because the Hawkeye offense has had issues getting out of its own way the last couple of years.

So when can we expect to see Brown do battle with his old team? Well, we’ll have to wait and see because the expectation is that the Big Ten will do away with divisions and go to a different scheduling format once next year rolls around.
