Will Anderson to meet with Seattle Seahawks

Seattle Seahawks expressing interest in Will Anderson at No. 5 overall

There hasn’t been an NFL draft with this much uncertainty in quite some time. There are four quarterbacks who may go in the top five picks of the draft with plenty of teams in need. However, the Houston Texans have expressed interest in moving out of the No. 2 selection while the Indianapolis Colts have been rumored to want to move up from No. 4 overall, so we still don’t even know which team will be drafting where.

This draft also features two-generational defensive talents in Alabama’s [autotag]Will Anderson[/autotag] Jr. and Georgia’s Jalen Carter. Because of the need for quarterbacks in this draft, there is a chance that both of these guys could slide out of the top three or four spots.

Today, Anderson will be meeting with the Seattle Seahawks who hold the No. 5 overall selection in the upcoming draft. Seattle has been an outstanding defensive team under head coach Pete Carroll and this would be a phenomenal landing spot for Anderson. Seattle has a very young and talented defense that would fit Anderson’s style of play perfectly.

Carroll has a history of taking freak athletes like DK Metcalf and Cam Chancellor and turning them into outstanding NFL players. Anderson is a much more put-together prospect than these two, but he would also greatly benefit from Carrol’s tutelage. While Anderson would probably like to go before No. 5 overall, this might be the best thing for his future career.

Roll Tide Wire will continue to monitor Will Anderson ahead of the 2023 NFL draft.
