Two former Vols competed in the NBA playoffs Saturday. One former Vol did not play due to a coach’s decision.
The No. 3 seed 76ers defeated Brooklyn, 121-101, at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The contest was game No.1 of the Eastern Conference first round.
Tobias Harris started and played 29 minutes for Philadelphia. He totaled 21 points, four rebounds, four assists and one block for the 76ers.
Harris was 9-for-14 in field goal attempts and 3-for-3 in three-point attempts.
Jaden Springer appeared off the bench and played two minutes. He recorded no stats in the contest.
The second-seeded Celtics defeated Atlanta, 112-99, at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.
Forward Grant Williams did not play for the Celtics due to a coach’s decision.
