There will be no winner-take-all Game 3 between LSU and South Carolina. The teams went 1-1 against each other this weekend, but mother nature went 2-0 against both of them.
Game 3 was rescheduled from Friday afternoon until Saturday morning at 11 a.m. CT, but the rain hasn’t moved away from Columbia at all and the game was called off. It will not be made up at a later date.
The next time these two teams meet would be in the SEC tournament or regionals/supers/Omaha. The Tigers will now turn their attention to the Tulane Green Wave as they travel to New Orleans to take them on this Tuesday at 6 p.m.
Today's series finale against South Carolina has been canceled due to weather. The Tigers will be back in action at Tulane on Tuesday.

Though a series win would have been nice, this could be a blessing in disguise for LSU’s pitching staff, which has been depleted via injuries. This will give them a few days to rest and try to get back to 100%.
