There are very few things in this world that the Ohio State and Michigan faithful can agree upon, especially when it comes to football. After former Wolverine Braylon Edwards claimed things were falling apart in Columbus, another former U of M grad was heaping praise on Buckeye quarterback C.J. Stroud.
Former Michigan star and current Big Ten Network analyst, Jake Butt, made his thoughts clear on Stroud. And they are overwhelmingly positive.
“The dude has all the talent in the world. There’s not a throw on the field that he can’t make,” said Butt.
We’ll find out soon enough if the Carolina Panthers agree with Butt or if they feel a different quarterback would be a better fit to lead the franchise, but it’s clear who the pick would be if it were up to the former Wolverine.

In an earlier segment on BTN, Butt shared his thoughts on the Ohio State quarterback room as a whole. Again, nothing but positivity saying “They are a quarterback factory at this point.”
I never thought I’d see the day, but it feels good to have someone on the other side of the fence saying good things about the Buckeyes. But then again, Butt is a Central Ohio native, so maybe it makes a little sense.
