There will be a slew of talented quarterbacks in the 2024 NFL draft class.
Some of the nation’s top signal-callers are preparing for their sixth season of college football. Experienced quarterbacks like Washington’s Michael Penix Jr. and Notre Dame’s Sam Hartman are returning to college as sixth-year seniors in 2023 with hopes of improving their draft stock.
However, the youngest quarterbacks in the draft are arguably the most talented. USC’s Caleb Williams, Texas’ Quinn Ewers, and UNC’s Drake Maye are considered the likely top quarterback prospects for the 2024 NFL draft and need to play one more season at their respective programs before becoming draft eligible.
As is every year, a player or two skyrockets up the rankings with breakout seasons. Florida’s Anthony Richardson is a good example of a quick riser for the 2023 NFL draft where he’s likely to become a top-five pick. Who will that be for the 2024 class?
