The Houston Texans upgraded at guard and it only cost them a sixth-round pick.
The Texans agreed to trade for Tampa Bay Buccaneers guard Shaq Mason Tuesday. All the Texans had to do was surrender a 2023 sixth-round pick for the former New England Patriots offensive lineman. The Bucs also threw in a 2023 seventh-rounder.
Mason played all 17 games for the Buccaneers last year, starting in every contest. Tampa Bay went 8-9 and won the NFC South in Tom Brady’s presumptive final season.
Twitter was full of takes when the news was announced about the agreed-upon trade for Mason. Here are some of the best reactions.
