The New York Giants were one of approximately a dozen NFL teams in attendance at free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.’s workout in Arizona on Friday.
The former Giant star, who missed all of 2022 with an ACL injury he suffered as a member of the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LVI, looked to be in top form and even made one of his signature one-handed grabs.

The 30-year-old Beckham has drawn interest from teams looking for a veteran presence/playmaker at wide receiver including the Rams and Giants, Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots, Baltimore Ravens, and Dallas Cowboys, who for some reason did not have a representative at Friday’s workout.
Last fall, Beckham visited the Giants, Buffalo, and Dallas but decided to test the 2023 free agency waters instead.
At his season-ending presser in January, Giants general manager Joe Schoen was asked about the meeting had with Beckham last year.
“Dinner was good, and we’re going to consider, again, when we have this offseason meeting, every position, who’s available. Who are the players who are potential — that we could sign? Again, we’ll devise the plan from there. That’s kind of where we are right now,” Schoen said.
Well, the interest is still there as illustrated by the Giants’ presence on Friday. Beckham reportedly looked more muscular and proved he’s ready to resume his NFL career.
Talked to a few people who attended Odell Beckham's workout. One noted how noticeably muscular Beckham looks now, likening him to a combination of Saquon Barkley and Deebo Samuel. Another said Beckham is simply a gifted athlete and that hasn't changed. Explosion was there.

Now comes the question: how much will it cost a team to sign him?
Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio believes Beckham would want a contract that draws a big headline but “will actually be something like a one-year, $7 million contract with a team option after one year to unlock up to three real years followed by a phony final year that pushes the total average to $20 million annually.”
The Giants have around $23 million in available cap space to play with this offseason and wide receiver is said to be high on their list. This could happen.
