Bijan Robinson earns high praise from Alabama’s Will Anderson

Game respects game.

The best pro prospects are getting together this week for the 2023 NFL Combine. Players met with the media on Wednesday ahead of the skills portion for the rest of the week.

Alabama EDGE rusher Will Anderson was asked about the toughest player he faced during his college career. The projected top-five pick was quick to call out Texas running back Bijan Robinson as one of the best he saw.

Texas and Alabama squared off in a classic nonconference matchup back in September. The Crimson Tide escaped Austin with a 20-19 win on a last-second field goal.

Anderson spoke on how difficult it was to bring down Robinson all game. It took multiple Alabama defenders to slow down Bijan.

“Bijan Robinson, the running back from Texas. He’s a big back. We had to gang-tackle him, get all hats to the ball. He was going to break a few tackles. We had to tackle the right way. But he’s probably the toughest person I faced in college football.”
