NFL draft analyst explains why he would take Bryce Young over C.J. Stroud

ESPN’s Matt Miller explains why Bryce Young is QB1 over Ohio State’s C.J. Stroud

Former Alabama quarterback Bryce Young has been linked to multiple teams inside the top five for the 2023 NFL draft. He is often projected to be the first quarterback selected and the first overall pick if the Chicago Bears end up trading the pick.

ESPN draft analyst Matt Miller recently explained why he has Young ranked over Ohio State‘s C.J. Stroud. His main reason? Pocket presence.

Miller discusses Young’s awareness and instinctual ability to move around the pocket or escape it altogether. In multiple games over the course of his collegiate career, the team was bailed out by Young’s legs. Miller argues Stroud can’t mimic those abilities.

Roll Tide Wire will continue to follow Bryce Young and other former Alabama players as the 2023 NFL draft approaches.
