It appeared the Buffalo Bills were going to keep their assistant offensive line coach Ryan Wendell.
Nevermind.
According to reports last week, Wendell interviewed for the New England Patriots’ head O-line coaching position.
Days later, Patriots Wire reported that former Oregon associate head coach, run game coordinator and offensive line coach Adrian Klemm was hired instead.
There were no connection made to the Los Angeles Rams, but evidently there was one.
According to Rams Wire, Wendell has accepted the offensive line coaching position in LA.
Wendell, 36, was an assistant on Buffalo’s coaching staff since March 2019. The Bills retained Wendell after hiring Aaron Kromer as their lead offensive line coach last offseason.
Kromer remains in that role, so losing Wendell is considered minor.
Bills Wire will continue to bring updates relating to any interviews members of the team’s front office have throughout the spring.
