Watch: Isaiah Foskey dominates Michigan offensive tackle at Senior Bowl practice

Like a hot knife through butter

There has been a different kind of buzz around the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama this week as some have been asking if it’s anywhere near the marquee draft evaluation exhibition it once was.  While opinions on that differ depending who you ask the thing that remains consistent is the importance of practices being far greater than the actual game.

Practices are underway ahead of this weekend’s game and one player drawing a lot of attention is Notre Dame edge rusher [autotag]Isaiah Foskey[/autotag].  Foskey set the Fighting Irish record for career sacks, passing [autotag]Justin Tuck[/autotag] on senior day this past November.  It won’t go down in any record books but he also flat-out owned Michigan offensive tackle Ryan Hayes in a one-on-one drill Tuesday.  Take a look below.

I don’t want to blow this out of the water as Hayes isn’t anywhere near the top tackles in this draft but he’s still projected by most to safely get drafted.  He also played tackle on the team that won the Joe Moore Award for being the nation’s best offensive line this past year.

All that and Isaiah Foskey went through him like he a hot knife through butter.  Easy, Isaiah.  That young man has a family too you know…
