Everything Ryan Day said after the first day at the Chick-fil-A Bowl

Here’s everything Ryan Day said about Ohio State and the opponent, Georgia, after Day 1 in Atlanta at the site of the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl. #GoBucks

The Ohio State football team is officially in Atlanta. It landed Sunday night to continue its preparations for Georgia in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl College Football Playoff semifinal.

It’s been an up-and-down six weeks for Ryan Day and the program. The Buckeyes started the year with 11 straight wins before losing their regular-season finale against Michigan. They had to hope for an upset or two just to get into the College Football Playoff. Events went OSU’s way, and now there’s second-life in Atlanta.

Beat No. 1 Georgia and there may be a chance at redemption with a potential matchup against the Wolverines in the national championship game in Los Angeles.

Day met with the media at the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl on Monday to discuss all of that. We have the full transcript of everything he said as Ohio State looks to put the finishing touches on the massive clash on Saturday night.

Let’s dive into the question and answer session from Day on Monday.
