Bills re-sign Brandin Bryant to the practice squad

His release earlier this week could have been a sign from the #Bills:

Brandin Bryant’s rotation with the Bills has taken another turn this week.

On Monday, the team announced that offensive lineman Ike Boettger was activated to the 53-man roster form the PUP list. Bryant was released in order to make room for Boettger.

But Bryant isn’t going far as he has since re-signed with the club via their practice squad.

Bryant spent training camp with the Bills but was cut at the end of the summer. He eventually returned… multiple times.

At one point he was let go and signed by the Texans in early November. Then once he was released there, Bryant was brought back by the Bills once more.

Round and round we go, but Bryant is back on the team’s taxi squad.

Bryant being taken off the active roster this week was likely a sign of something more. Fellow defensive lineman Jordan Phillips (shoulder) was sidelined for two games.

Phillips has been back at practice this week ahead of the team’s matchup with the Bears (3-11). One could anticipate Phillips being back in the lineup, which made Bryant initially expendable.
