“After taking time to pray about my future, it’s now the time in my journey to fulfill another dream, playing in the NFL. Thus, I have decided to opt out of the bowl game and declare for the 2023 NFL draft,” Overshown stated in his farewell social media post.
Overshown played in every game for the Longhorns this past season, totaling 96 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and four sacks. The fifth-year linebacker will be missed on the Forty Acres.
