The Buffalo Bills had many decisions to make on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns.
In the end, the Bills eventually made more correct ones. Buffalo (7-3) topped Cleveland (3-7) by a score of 31-23.
After the final whistle, there was another big choice the Bills had.
Due to brutal weather this week, the matchup was moved to Detroit instead of being held in Orchard Park. The ensuing curveball: Buffalo’s next game is on Thursday, a Thanksgiving Day clash… in Detroit against the Lions.
So would the Bills decide to stay through the holiday?
Evidently, McDermott likes the confides of western New York more. The Bills decided to fly back to Buffalo and head back to Detroit, likely on Wednesday.
“Yeah, we talked about it. I wanted to get the guys some quality rest and get in their own beds tonight. We fortunately get out of here at a decent time,” McDermott said via video conference.
Both options had their pros and cons. A possible factor in there was probably the flight time. It’s not a far trip in the air from Buffalo to Detroit and back.
Might as well get into your own bed for a few days.
