It was a cold, snowy day in Columbus, Ohio Saturday, but that’s how football is knit together in the Midwest towards the end of fall. The Indiana Hoosiers came to the ‘Shoe to try and shock Ohio State and the college football world, but it didn’t work out that way.
Instead, the Buckeyes used 340 yards on the ground and a balanced offense to win handily 56-14. It was just what the doctor ordered on the banks of the Olentangy after a couple of weeks of questionable game control on the offensive end.
With the snow falling, and with so many highlight-worthy plays, the football palate was ripe for some amazing photos. It just so happens that our USA TODAY Sports photographers were on hand to file away some high-resolution photos for your viewing pleasure as Ohio State remained unbeaten at 10-0 and on track for some pretty special things.
Here are some of the best photos we picked out in a scrolling library.
