It was the Skyler Bell show on Saturday afternoon at Camp Randall, as the redshirt freshman scored his first career touchdown in the lopsided victory.
Bell not only found pay dirt once, but twice in Wisconsin’s 66-7 win over New Mexico State. The New York native was the lone Badger receiver to surpass 100 yards on the day, finishing with four grabs for 108 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
The two-touchdown performance was the first time a Badger wide receiver scored multiple touchdowns in a game since Quintez Cephus did it back in 2019 against Central Michigan.
Bell also helped quarterback Graham Mertz put together a third-straight 200-yard passing game for the first time in his career.
