It’s hard to believe it’s already been five years since Jonathan Taylor first scampered into the end zone for the Wisconsin Badgers.
During Wisconsin’s 2017 home opener, Taylor wasn’t even the number one running back. It didn’t take long for the New Jersey native to take the starting job and run with it. September 1, 2017 against Utah State marked the beginning of one of the great careers not only in Badger history, but in college football history.
It was a 12-yard run around the right side that got the party started for Taylor as a Badger. It also ended up being a sign of things to come:
