Five-star quarterback Arch Manning continues to showcase why he’s rated the No. 1 prospect in the country for the 2023 recruiting class.
Steve Sarkisian and his staff were impressively able to secure a commitment from Manning in June. Shortly after, the recruiting flood gates opened for the Longhorns and they have the No. 2 class in the country for the 2023 cycle, according to the 247Sports composite.
The Isidore Newman standout participated in a scrimmage against Holy Cross on Friday evening and made several nice plays. Here’s a look at one of the top plays of the night: Manning finding receiver Anthony Jones for a 53-yard connection.

From a physical standpoint, Manning certainly already looks the part. When you couple that with the likelihood of him redshirting his true freshman season behind Quinn Ewers, the sky is the limit for Manning’s collegiate career in Austin.
