Famah Toure, one of the top uncommitted football players in New Jersey’s class of 2023, is set to make his announcement this week.
The three-star wide receiver announced on Monday night that he will be making his college decision on Friday at 6 P.M. ET.
A product of Irvington, N.J., Toure has taken official visits to Illinois and Rutgers football. He considered a slight lean to Rutgers.
According to On3, Toure is the No. 14 recruit in New Jersey.
Rutgers currently has two players in the top 10 in the state for this recruiting cycle according to On3: No. 8 JaSire Peterson and No. 10 John Stone.
Over the weekend, Peterson spoke with RutgersWire about his decision to commit to Rutgers and his evolving role as a leader of the 2023 recruiting class.
Toure posted on his Twitter about his upcoming college decision. He also holds an offer from Temple:
I will be committing July 22nd @6pm!!! Stay tuned

Toure, who stands an impressive 6-foot-4, would be a big, physical wide receiver were he to land at Rutgers.
