Lost in the hubbub of the Denver Broncos’ regular-season schedule release on Thursday evening was the announcement of the team’s preseason games.
The Broncos announced their opponents on Thursday night, followed by finalized dates and times on Friday afternoon.
- Week 1: vs. Cowboys (Aug. 13, 7 p.m. MT)
- Week 2: @ Bills (Aug. 20, 11 a.m. MT)
- Week 3: vs. Vikings (Aug. 27, 7 p.m. MT)
Television channels for Denver’s three preseason games are also yet to be announced.
All of the team’s preseason games will be broadcast locally on KTVD Channel 20, and the league might consider making one or more of the Broncos’ preseason games a nationally-televised contest on NFL Network.
Playing in prime-time in preseason would be an appropriate warmup for Denver given that the team has five prime-time games scheduled for the regular season, plus two more nationally-televised games (one in London and one on Christmas Day).
