Greg Gard and his coaching staff have been putting plenty of feelers out in the transfer portal this offseason as they look to add some much needed depth to the program.
The 6-foot-5, 205-pound wing averaged 21.9 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.7 assists on 44% shooting for the Spartans this past season.
Jones is widely regarded as one of the top D2 transfers, and has reportedly heard from Wisconsin, Virginia, Villanova, LSU, Alabama, Western Kentucky, Iowa State, Cal State Fullerton, FAU, and Texas A&M.
With D2 kids, you're hoping for a Duncan Robinson-esque lottery ticket. Max Jones offensively looks the part of someone who can be a HM contributor – even if it takes a year to adjust. The shot looks good and he has good size at 6'5" 205 lbs. pic.twitter.com/2AF7qTA7Rk
