Rae Burrell to attend 2022 WNBA draft

Tennessee’s Rae Burrell invited to the 2022 WNBA draft.

Rae Burrell has accepted an invitation to the 2022 WNBA draft presented by State Farm.

Burrell is one of 12 prospects who will be in attendance at the draft, which will be held in New York, New York Monday.

Prospects will be able to attend the draft for the first time since 2019. The event has been held virtually the last two years due to the coronavirus pandemic.

First-round picks will be announced by WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert exclusively on ESPN, beginning at 7 p.m. EDT.

The remainder of the draft will be available live on the ESPN app.

Joining Burrell Monday will be Shakira Austin (Ole Miss); Kierstan Bell (Florida Gulf Coast); Veronica Burton (Northwestern); Nia Clouden (Michigan State); Elissa Cunane (North Carolina State); Emily Engstler (Louisville); Destanni Henderson (South Carolina); Naz Hillmon (Michigan); Rhyne Howard (Kentucky); Nyara Sabally (Oregon) and NaLyssa Smith (Baylor).
