Tennessee suffers fourth consecutive road defeat at Alabama.

The Lady Vols dropped another Southeastern Conference road game Thursday, losing to Alabama (13-11, 4-9 SEC), 74-64, at Coleman Coliseum in Tuscaloosa.

No. 12 Tennessee (21-5, 10-3 SEC) also had Jordan Horston leave the game with an elbow injury. She had a cast on her arm after the contest.

UT, which fell behind, 16-14, in the first quarter trailed throughout the night as the Crimson Tide was ahead, 38-29, at halftime.

The Lady Vols, who trailed, 63-45, heading in to the final quarter, had a comeback attempt fall short.

Tamari Key had a double-double for Tennessee as she finished with 20 points and 13 rebounds.

Rae Burrell added 13 points and Horston finished with 12 points, five assists and four rebounds before exiting the game.

Megan Abrams led Alabama with 27 points. Brittany Davis totaled 23 points for the Crimson Tide.

The loss is Tennessee’s fourth consecutive defeat on the road.
