Seventeen days after he entered the transfer portal in mid-January, former Buffs running back Jarek Broussard announced via Twitter on Sunday that he has committed to Michigan State.
The 2020 Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Year now reunites with Mel Tucker, who led the Buffs during a 2019 season in which Broussard was injured.
Broussard was also interested in Oregon and even took a trip to Eugene, but fortunately for Colorado, decided to join the Big Ten with two years of eligibility remaining.
With Michigan State’s latest addition, its backfield could once again be deadly next season. The Spartans recently gained Wisconsin transfer Jalen Berger, plus they return Eli Collins, Jordan Simmons and Harold Joiner.
