The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to Oconee County linebacker Whit Weeks. Weeks is a three-star prospect in the class of 2023.

The 6-foot-2, 190-pound linebacker has offers from top college football programs, including LSU, Utah, Oklahoma, Stanford and USC.

Weeks’ older brother, West, is transferring to LSU for the 2022 college football season. West Weeks began his college football career at Virginia.

Whit Weeks announced his offer from the University of Georgia via his Twitter account:

Kirby Smart and Georgia have the top-ranked class of 2023 in the country. UGA has commitments from eight four-stars and one three-star in the junior class.

Georgia linebackers coach and co-defensive coordinator Glenn Schumann is one of the top recruiters and developers in the country. Schumann helped Roquan Smith and Nakobe Dean become elite linebackers. Schumann and Will Muschamp are still looking to add Georgia’s first commitment from a linebacker in the class of 2023.
