Four-star Alabama DE puts UGA football in top schools

The Georgia Bulldogs and Alabama Crimson Tide are among the top schools for defensive end recruit Yhonzae Pierre.

The Georgia Bulldogs and Alabama Crimson Tide are among the top schools for defensive end recruit Yhonzae Pierre. Pierre is ranked as a four-star recruit and is a member of the class of 2023.

The 6-foot-4, 220-pound defensive end stars in football for Eufaula High School in Eufaula, Alabama. Pierre is rated as the No. 223 recruit in his class and is the No. 15 player in Alabama.

Pierre ranks Alabama, FSU, Georgia Tech, Georgia, Florida, Penn State, Mississippi State, and Auburn among his top schools. The four-star edge rusher has already visited Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, and more.

Pierre has additional offers from programs like LSU, Arizona State, and Arkansas. The Eufaula standout also plays basketball. He is quite athletic and can dunk a basketball.

The class of 2023 recruit’s speed, quickness, and pursuit are strengths of his game. Pierre made Alabama’s all-state team thanks to his impressive efforts this year.
