The 21st century has brought Wisconsin athletics sustained success on the basketball court and the football field. In recent years, the Badgers have fielded winning programs in both sports, and 2021 was no exception.
After Wisconsin’s Las Vegas Bowl win over Arizona State, the Badgers joined rare company. Wisconsin became one of only nine NCAA schools to win a bowl game and a 2021 NCAA Men’s Tournament game. The Badgers defeated North Carolina in the first round of the 2021 NCAA Tournament back in March.
The Badgers were joined by the Maryland Terrapins as the only Big Ten schools on the list. Here is a look at every team who accomplished the feat in 2021:
