Georgia running back Kendall Milton will miss some time after suffering an MCL injury in practice on Wednesday, Jake Rowe of Dawgs247 reports.
Per Rowe, Milton is expected to miss at least two games. The injury, though, will not require surgery.
Milton joins fellow running back Kenny McIntosh on the Georgia injury report. McIntosh has missed the last two games with a hamstring injury.
“Still nursing a hamstring, and hoping to get him back, but he’s not cleared yet today,” Kirby Smart said about McIntosh’s injury.
Milton is currently UGA’s third leading rusher with 49 carries for 243 yards and a touchdown. With Milton sidelined, look for Zamir White and James Cook to see an increase in action, plus sophomore back Daijun Edwards as well.
