Michigan State football was able to handle business last night against Western Kentucky, holding on despite a disappointing second half to win 48-31 at the Spartans’ homecoming game. Now 5-0 on the season, the Spartans jumped five spots in the latest AFCA Coaches Poll coming off the win and now sit at No. 11 overall.
In terms of the Big Ten, MSU is the fifth highest ranked team from the conference in the country. Iowa, Penn State, Ohio State and Michigan all placed in the top ten.
