The Ohio State Buckeyes are moving fast and furious all over the Rutgers Scarlet Knights and the true freshman are stealing the show. On the offensive side, we already saw TreVeyon Henderson burn the Rutgers defense, but not long after, true freshman corner Denzel Burke snagged an interception and took it to the house for six.
With all of the focus being on Henderson, the Burke interception is a healthy reminder that there are other impressive freshmen on the roster, namely Burke who has started to show real promise. He’s not just been impressive, but he has clearly overtaken Sevyn Banks as the most effective corner on the roster with the interception being a cool moment for him the defense, and the team — especially with the struggles we’ve seen on that side of the ball.
