WATCH: C.J. Stround hits Chris Olave for 38-yard strike vs. Minnesota

C.J. Stroud struggled in the first half but Olave coming out of the 2nd half for a 38-yard score.

Ohio State has been struggling a wee bit on offense against Minnesota, most specifically through the air as freshman C.J. Stroud gets his feet wet as the new starter.

That all changed coming out in the second half though. The Buckeyes got some things working on the ground to loosen up the Golden Gopher defense, then let Stroud hit Olave coming across the field for a 38-yard answer to a troubling first half that saw OSU go into the locker room down 14-10.

It was a much-needed strike for Stroud. He started off the game well but began to misfire on some throws that probably should have been made. Watch as Stroud lets the play develop, hits Olave in stride and lets him do the rest.

Ohio State will need more of this in the second half if it wants to beat back quite the challenge from Minnesota so far.
