Chase Young is already doing Chase Young things.
When we last saw the former Ohio State and current Washington Football Team caped crusader, he was wrecking gameplans and desires of opposing quarterbacks. It may have been a slower burn than many anticipated when the season kicked off, but by the time he helped Washington make the playoffs, he finished the season as the NFL’s Defensive Rookie of the Year.
As Washington gets ready for another season, it had a preseason game against the New England Patriots on Thursday night and it did not take long for Mr. Young to introduce himself to the quarterback.
Watch the video feed from the PFF College Twitter account as Young comes around the left side of the offensive line in a standing position, gets off the edge quick and around his man to greet quarterback Cam Newton in the backfield with a sack and forced fumble.

Young is going to be a beast this year as long as he stays healthy. He’s been working hard in the offseason, looks to be in fantastic shape, and has a year of seasoning. Opposing quarterbacks have officially been put on notice.
