NFL training camps are underway and former Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields is making a good first impression on veteran players. Jimmy Graham, who has played with some all-time greats and who is himself a pretty outstanding tight end, gave Fields high praise at a press conference earlier in the week.
Graham has had the luxury of playing with three future Hall of Fame quarterbacks: Drew Breese, Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson. When asked about Fields, the tight end in his second year with the Bears, had some telling comments on how great the rookie QB could become.
“He wants to be great. He puts in the work,” Graham said. “It’s been impressive to see him so young and so focused. It definitely reminds me of Russell Wilson.”
“Justin Fields definitely reminds me a lot of Russell Wilson”

Clearly, there is reason for excitement in the Windy City. Matt Nagy remains adamant Fields will not be the starting quarterback to start the season. However, with Fields winning over teammates in the locker room and with his work ethic, it may only be a matter of time before the young QB is handed the reins.
