One of the top defensive lineman in the 2022 recruiting class is now down to 10 schools.
Four-star defensive lineman Khurtiss Perry announced the final schools left in his recruitment on Sunday. Texas made the cut alongside Alabama, Ohio State, Miami, UCF, Michigan, Oregon, Auburn, Tennessee and LSU.
Perry is rated the No. 29 overall prospect for the 2022 cycle and the No. 2 overall recruit from the state of Alabama according to 247Sports. At his position, he is listed as the No. 7 defensive lineman in the class.

In 2020, Perry earned Alabama Sports Writers Association 6A first-team all-state selection as a defensive lineman. The 6-foot-3, 267-pound playmaker totaled 173 tackles, 58 tackles for loss and 15 sacks as a junior.
The Longhorns extended an offer to Perry on January 22. In June, he took an unofficial visit to Alabama and one 247Sports crystal ball prediction has been entered in favor of the Crimson Tide.
