Former Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts is now the starting quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles. Soon, there could be three quarterbacks from Alabama to start on three different NFL teams.
It’s hard to believe Hurts, Tua Tagovailoa and Mac Jones were at one point all on the same roster.
Jones was the final of the three to see the limelight, but his playing abilities shined through when his time came.
Granted, he did get to sit behind two Alabama greats, Hurts and Tagovailoa, for a few year before getting his chance. That’s exactly what Jalen Hurts talked about with Rick Karle of WTVM in Birmingham.
“The best way you can learn is to watch,” says Hurts. “Mac had a unique college career, where he had to stay patient, and it worked out for him.”
.@MacJones_10 is turning heads w/ the @Patriots & @Eagles QB @JalenHurts saw it coming.
Jalen is in Hoover, AL for his youth camp, & he tells me that he's impressed with Mac, who learned from both him and @Tua at @AlabamaFTBL @UA_Athletics @UofAlabama #JalenHurts @NFL @WVTM13 pic.twitter.com/RI67sOOsjH
