The 2021 NFL draft is in the books, but that isn’t stopping teams from filling their roster out with top undrafted free agent talent. There were ten former Ohio State Buckeyes selected during draft weekend, but the rest are eagerly waiting to hear from franchises that want to give them a shot.
Most of Buckeye nation was shocked to see Luke Farrell drafted so early as he was selected by former Ohio State coach Urban Meyer and the Jacksonville Jaguars in the fifth round, but it was not surprising to see Jake Hausmann fall to the undrafted ranks.
Hausmann was a former high school Army All-American and four-star prospect out of Cincinnati’s Archbishop Moeller and he will now being fighting for a roster spot with the Detroit.
The Lions signed the OSU tight end to an undrafted free agent contract over the weekend.
