Much of the talk around the Michigan State football quarterback competition this offseason has been around Payton Thorne and transfer Anthony Russo, and for good reason. However, there was a third MSU quarterback who was throwing some dimes during Saturday’s spring scrimmage: redshirt freshman Noah Kim.
Kim showed a nice comfort level with tight end Ian Stewart on Saturday, and on one play in particular, was able to connect with him for a deep bomb.

This is also a really impressive grab by Ian Stewart, a player who transitioned from wide receiver to tight end during last season but didn’t see much action. Tight end is a pretty wide open position this year for the Spartans so Stewart will definitely see opportunity if he keeps making plays like this.
