On Thursday night, Twitter erupted after news broke that 5-star athlete Malaki Starks has committed to play football at the University of Georgia.
Starks, a 5-star athlete in the class of 2022, made his decision live on Fox5 Atlanta at the Jefferson Civic Center. It came down to Georgia, Alabama and Clemson – and the Dawgs came out on top.
Starks hails from Jefferson, Georgia and stands at 6-foot-1 and weighs in at 200 pounds. 247Sports has Starks as the nation’s No. 13 overall player.

Safe to say the #UGA faithful in Jefferson came out in full strength and appreciated keeping Malaki Starks home.
