After yet another split week where they lost to the Iowa Hawkeyes but beat the Northwestern Wildcats, the Wisconsin Badgers have fallen three spots to No. 24 in the latest Ferris Mowers Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports.
The Badgers could not stop the high-powered Hawkeyes’ offense, which was able to cruise by Wisconsin with 30 points from center Luka Garza. Fortunately, the Badgers were able to figure things out against the Northwestern Wildcats on Sunday, where they had five players finish with double-digits in scoring. Wisconsin will need this scoring when they face the now-No. 4 ranked Illinois Fighting Illini on Saturday.
There has been some movement at the top of the Big Ten and the latest Ferris Mowers Coaches Poll by several teams. Following Ohio State‘s loss to the Michigan Wolverines, the Buckeyes have fallen to No. 5, while Illinois has moved into their previous spot of No. 4. Michigan has remained at No. 3, while Iowa has moved up two spots to No. 12 after their convincing victory against the Badgers.
